About
Since 2023, I have held the position of Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the International School for Government and Policy Institute, King's College London. During the academic year 2022/23, I served as a Lecturer in Political Economy at the Department of Political Economy.
On the side, I hold the position of Senior Research Associate at the ENA Institute, located in Athens, Greece. In 2024, I am spearheading a fully-funded study in collaboration with ETERON, concentrating on the voting behaviour of young Greeks. Since 2021, I have been a Fellow of Team Populism at Brigham Young University.
I earned a PhD in Political Science from King's College London in 2022, following the completion of an MA in Education Policy in 2018 from the same institution. Prior to that, I read Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 2019 to 2014.
My research interests have expanded to encompass investigations into communication strategies utilized by far-right extremist groups in the 21st century. Moreover, I am interested in exploring unconstitutional practices within politics and proposing policy measures to combat forms of democratic norm abuse.
In my spare time, I record music under the alias Plastic Flowers. In 2023-24, I joined Onassis Stegi for a bi-monthly mixtape show. I have also been developing algorithms on MAX/MSP and I enjoy coding, drawing, and surfing. Finally, I hold a black belt in Taekwon-Do.
